Islamabad: (RightNow) Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar states that attacks on Pakistan are being planned from Afghanistan. He urges the Taliban to cease supporting terrorist groups.

Addressing the OIC meeting, Ishaq Dar highlights that Afghanistan’s situation is affecting regional peace. He mentions Pakistan’s assistance to Afghan people and its expectation for the Taliban to end terrorism.

He further emphasizes that the Taliban must uphold human rights and take steps to eliminate terrorism. He notes that the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan poses a regional threat.

Ishaq Dar calls on the OIC to pressure the Taliban to ensure Afghan soil is not used against neighboring countries. He warns that the presence of over two dozen groups in Afghanistan is a threat to global peace.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan is committed to peace and stability in Afghanistan, but this requires the Taliban’s political will and mutual respect. Pakistan has played a significant role in aiding the Afghan people.
