Gaza: (RightNow) The Gaza Board of Peace has proposed a $2.45 billion plan for reconstruction over six months. The future of this plan is uncertain due to disagreements over ceasefire terms between Israel and Hamas.

During the United Nations General Assembly in New York, board officials presented the plan’s details. The plan includes 66 programs aimed at restoring Gaza’s infrastructure and economy.

This initiative is part of U.S. President Trump’s efforts to achieve a ceasefire. Recent Israeli attacks resulted in the death of four individuals, including a Hamas official.

According to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, this is a long-term plan, but it offers hope to the people. Jared Kushner acknowledged the delay in the plan’s implementation.

It is important to note that despite efforts for a ceasefire in Gaza, reconstruction has not commenced. Over 73,900 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks.
