Ottawa: (RightNow) Canada has imposed sanctions on 10 Iranian individuals and entities. This action is taken due to their role in the Iranian government’s oppressive actions.

Canada’s Foreign Minister Anita Anand stated that these sanctions target those involved in Iran’s reprehensible actions. She emphasized that Canada is acting against measures threatening global peace.

The statement further mentioned that these actions include human rights violations. Sanctions have also been imposed on Iran’s Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni.

Canada has expressed its readiness to use any means against the Iranian government. The aim of these actions is to ensure global peace and security.

It is noteworthy that Canada has previously imposed several sanctions on Iran. These sanctions aim to prevent human rights violations by Iran.
