New York: (RightNow) Foreign ministers from four neighboring countries of Iran have urged the restoration of diplomatic efforts to ease regional tensions during the United Nations General Assembly meeting.

The foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan held a consultative meeting in New York. In a joint statement issued after the meeting, they expressed concern over the tensions and declared diplomacy as the only path to a sustainable solution.

The ministers highlighted the importance of adhering to the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding for lasting peace and stability.

The statement condemned the attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, including recent assaults by the Houthi militia.
