Aleema Khan accuses the government of contempt of court, claiming her case is unjustly stalled.
Lahore: (RightNow) Aleema Khan, sister of Imran Khan, accuses the government of ignoring Supreme Court orders despite judges’ efforts for justice. She claims the entire government is guilty of contempt of court.
Aleema Khan detailed that unjust penalties are being imposed in her case, with 11 arrest warrants issued, her ID card blocked, and bank accounts frozen. No progress has been made in her case for a month.
She pointed out that the prosecution is avoiding her case, and a Lahore High Court judge resigned due to decisions not being made over WhatsApp messages. Judges following the constitution and law are being threatened.
Aleema Khan alleged that the rulers have turned the country into a hub of corruption and flee abroad during tough times.
It is noteworthy that defense lawyer Faisal Mahmood Malik claims there is no evidence in the case, calling it bogus. He stated that Aleema Khan is being punished for being the sister of PTI’s founder, and they demand an immediate decision.
