Lahore: (RightNow) Pakistan’s first wildlife hospital is now complete. The facility includes 12 operating theaters and 2 examination rooms.

Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb was briefed on the wildlife hospital project. She was informed that the facility, equipped with modern amenities, is crucial for wildlife treatment.

Under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the hospital’s establishment marks significant progress in wildlife conservation. She has also directed the transformation of Jallo Park into a modern eco-tourism center.

Advanced technology will be installed to detect forest fires, including AI, long-range thermal cameras, and satellite monitoring.

It is noteworthy that the province has achieved the target of planting 50 million trees, and 285 geo-tagging nurseries are now operational.
