Pakistan issues third LNG tender in September, seeks bids from global firms.
Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistan has issued an LNG tender for the third time in September. This tender is for the delivery period from September 12 to 16, and Pakistan LNG Limited has invited bids from international companies.
The deadline for submitting bids is set for September 8, and the received bids will be opened on the same day.
Government sources state that the previous two tenders were rejected due to high bid prices.
This move is crucial to meet Pakistan’s LNG needs. Rising LNG prices in the global market pose a challenge.
It is noteworthy that Pakistan faced difficulties in the last two tenders due to global price hikes.
