Islamabad: (RightNow) A decision has been made to take strict action against 8 suspended officials involved in the PIMS incident. It is recommended to include their names on the Exit Control List (ECL).

According to sources, criminal proceedings against these officials have been completed, and approval has been given to file cases against them. The inquiry committee recommended action against these officials.

The federal police have formally recommended adding the names of these 8 officials to the ECL. Among the suspended officials is PIMS Executive Director Dr. Imran Sikandar.

Sources indicate that a decision has been made to ban these officials from traveling abroad, while further legal action will be pursued against them.

It is important to note that this action against the responsible officials of the PIMS incident is being carried out based on the recommendations of the relevant authorities.
