Karachi: (RightNow) Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah warns the National Assembly that the division of Sindh is unacceptable. He states that decisions about Sindh’s future cannot be made elsewhere.

In the Sindh Assembly, the debate on the creation of new provinces continued for the fourth day, following a motion by the Pakistan People’s Party. Subsequently, a resolution against the division of Sindh was passed, presented by Nisar Khuhro.

The Chief Minister emphasized in his speech that new provinces should not be formed in Sindh and decisions should be made within Sindh. Ignoring public sentiments is not right.

It is noteworthy that in the past, the sentiments of Sindh’s people were overlooked during the formation of the One Unit. The Chief Minister stated that wealthy businessmen cannot decide on new provinces.

Murad Ali Shah also criticized MQM, stating that while administrative reforms can be discussed, the division of Sindh cannot be allowed.
