Lahore court instructs discipline in Uzma Bukhari’s fake video case; next hearing on September 12.
Lahore: (RightNow) The Lahore District Court held a hearing in the case of Uzma Bukhari’s alleged fake video circulation. The court ordered all parties to maintain judicial decorum.
The court’s written order stated that harsh words were exchanged between lawyers during the hearing. The court instructed the parties to adhere to judicial discipline.
The court clarified that any disruption in judicial proceedings will not be tolerated. Future violations will result in restrictions under Section 352 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).
Uzma Bukhari’s lawyer, Ali Zahid Bukhari, appeared in court, while the accused Falak Javed’s lawyer, Ali Ashfaq, presented arguments. The court charged the accused, Shahabuddin.
It is noteworthy that Uzma Bukhari filed a complaint in court regarding the fake video issue. She claimed that the accused are attempting to prolong the case.
