New York: (RightNow) Conversations of hundreds of users with the Claude AI chatbot have been leaked online. These conversations, containing personal and sensitive information, were publicly available for a period.

Reports indicate the issue stemmed from chats shared by users through Claude’s share option. Search engines like Google indexed these links, making them searchable.

Reddit users discovered over 200 chats, appearing in search results spanning 25 pages. These chats included personal questions, professional matters, and work-related information.

It is noteworthy that this is not the first instance of a major chatbot’s conversations being exposed publicly. Previously, similar incidents were reported with chatbots from OpenAI and Elon Musk’s company X.

Experts have warned users to exercise caution when sharing personal or confidential information with AI chatbots.
