South Waziristan: (RightNow) Security forces have thwarted a major terrorist attack in South Waziristan. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the forces for their timely action and professional skills.
The Prime Minister stated that the bravery of the forces resulted in the killing of 4 terrorists. He praised their exceptional courage and timely response.
The Prime Minister further stated that there will be no compromise on Pakistan’s security. He mentioned that operations under ‘Azm-e-Istahkam’ will continue.
He lauded the military’s cyber security and advanced autonomous systems. He stated that the defense of the borders is being strengthened.
It is noteworthy that yesterday, security forces thwarted an attempt to attack a checkpoint, killing 4 terrorists. ISPR reported that the terrorists were operating under Indian patronage.
