Meta collaborates with Pakistan to train 1,000 SMEs in AI and e-commerce, enhancing digital economy ties.
Islamabad: (RightNow) Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan welcomes Meta’s program. Meta is invited to collaborate in Pakistan’s digital economy and artificial intelligence sectors.
A delegation from Meta met with the Federal Minister for Commerce, agreeing to continue supporting SMEs. Meta offers technical assistance in e-commerce and digital policies.
Meta will provide free training to 1,000 SMEs in artificial intelligence, digital marketing, and online business. The training will run from August to November, including women and small-town businesses.
Jam Kamal Khan states that Pakistani businesses must leverage AI and digital platforms for global market access. The government is finalizing e-commerce and AI policies.
It is noteworthy that Meta has been partnering in various projects to develop SMEs in Pakistan, aiming to boost the country’s economic growth.
