Gabriel Perez allegedly attempted to earn around $100,000 by betting on specific words used in the speeches.

According to American media, these bets were placed on a local prediction market platform, which froze Perez’s account upon detecting suspicious activity.

White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt stated that President Trump has been informed of the matter, and the employee has been placed on unpaid leave.
