New York: (RightNow) FIFA has unveiled a special plan for fans following the 2026 World Cup final. Pieces of the pitch grass used in the final will be sold.

According to FIFA, these pieces will be sourced from the pitch at MetLife Stadium in the USA, where the final match was played. They will be preserved and sold as memorabilia in limited quantities.

International media reports that the prices for these pieces will be 450, 900, 1,200, and 3,000 US dollars. Each piece will come in a special acrylic case with a certificate of authenticity.

A maximum of 2,026 pieces will be available for sale. The aim of this initiative is to provide football fans with a unique keepsake.
