Meta has discontinued its controversial AI feature due to public outcry over privacy concerns.
California: (Right Now News) Meta has discontinued its AI-based image feature following intense public criticism. The feature, known as Muse Image, allowed users to edit Instagram photos.
Under Meta’s chatbot, this feature enabled users to create creative images. However, it faced severe backlash for activating without user consent. Users argued it violated their privacy.
Meta stated that the company’s aim was to provide a creative tool, but it failed to meet user expectations. The company has immediately shut down the feature.
