Peshawar: (Right Now News) A shocking incident has been reported at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Institute of Kidney Diseases, where a child patient was given an appointment four years later. The doctor scheduled the child’s next visit for November 13, 2030.

The child, named Yasir from Kohat, was brought to the hospital for kidney disease treatment. After diagnosis, the next appointment was set four years ahead.

Hospital sources revealed that due to staff shortages in the children’s urology ward, long appointment dates are being issued. Only one faculty member is available.

The parents have urged the government to take notice of this issue. The hospital administration stated that some surgeries require waiting for the child’s growth.

It is important to note that routine operations are ongoing at the hospital, but complex cases are facing delays.
