Karachi: (RightNow) Mir Reza’s family lawyer, Jibran Nasir, welcomes the judicial commission’s report. He states the commission has confirmed Mir Reza’s murder, dismissing the suicide claim. Police should not face further embarrassment.

Jibran Nasir adds that the detailed report of the judicial commission on Mir Reza’s case is yet to be received. Each party had an individual role in this case, but public trust in the police has diminished. Intelligence investigations are the only way to uncover the truth.

He mentions that according to the family’s stance, the government should form a JIT (Joint Investigation Team). It is recommended that DIG West be appointed as the JIT head. The commission suggests an FIA inquiry against involved officers within 10 days.

Jibran Nasir further states that intelligence investigations might lead to the killers. He mentions that revealing the killers will bring satisfaction. The FIA inquiry could launch tomorrow, and the JIT notification might be issued.

It is noteworthy that Mir Reza’s murder case has been under discussion for a long time. The family claims a lack of transparency in police investigations, necessitating intelligence investigations.
