Asad Qaiser claims governor rule decision was made before negotiations, labeling talks as a show.
Islamabad: (RightNow) PTI senior leader Asad Qaiser has labeled the government’s negotiations as mere show. Speaking on Geo News’ program Naya Pakistan, he mentioned that a fact-finding committee is being considered for the long march.
Asad Qaiser stated that in the core committee meeting, Salman Akram Raja did not hold Suhail Afridi responsible for failure. He added that rumors circulating on social media hold no truth. Ali Amin Gandapur was also present in the core committee meeting.
He revealed that the decision for governor rule and emergency was made long ago. The negotiations were conducted merely for show.
According to Asad Qaiser, this decision by the government has caused unrest among the public. He mentioned that it could further escalate political tensions.
It is noteworthy that talks between PTI and the government were ongoing in the current political scenario, but Asad Qaiser’s statement has further complicated the situation.
