Shaukat Yousafzai raises concerns over PTI worker arrests and lack of leadership strategy.
Peshawar: (RightNow) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Information Secretary Shaukat Yousafzai expresses concern over the ongoing crackdown on party workers since October 11. Arrests are increasing, and the leadership has not provided a clear strategy, leaving workers confused.
In a video message, Shaukat Yousafzai stated that on October 11, workers awaited leadership’s strategy, but no plan emerged. He mentioned that he had already advised postponing the long march for negotiations.
He emphasized the need to shift from confrontational to practical politics and to dispel the impression of fighting with institutions. The party’s top priority should be relief for Imran Khan.
It is important to note that Shaukat Yousafzai questioned the party’s strategy, highlighting that Imran Khan has been in jail for three years. The role of Barrister Gohar and other leaders will be crucial in getting the party out of this deadlock.
Remember, Shaukat Yousafzai stated that Chief Minister Suhail Afridi and other leaders should be presented in court. Their current whereabouts are unknown.
