Gujranwala: (RightNow) Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has justified the imposition of emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stating that they could not remain silent spectators to destruction. He mentioned that the decision was made for the development and prosperity of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He stated that frequent threats and long marches in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were disrupting the country’s system. He assured Suhail Afridi of providing resources to the province.

The Prime Minister had offered the former Chief Minister to join forces against terrorism, but instead received threats of long marches. He claimed that PTI’s history includes plans for bloodshed.

He praised the sacrifices of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa against terrorism. Terrorism, which began from Afghanistan in 2018, continues to affect the entire region.

It is noteworthy that governor rule and emergency have been imposed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which has been approved by the parliament.
