Rana Sanaullah expresses little hope for a breakthrough in PTI talks while monitoring the long march situation.
Islamabad: (RightNow). Prime Minister’s Advisor on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, states that there is little hope for a major breakthrough in talks with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He mentions that the door for dialogue between the government and PTI is not completely closed.
Rana Sanaullah further adds that Mohsin Naqvi is in contact with PTI leaders, including Gohar Khan, Amir Dogar, and Asad Qaiser. He explains that PTI has its own political stance, and the government has its own, making negotiations challenging without compromise.
Regarding the long march, Rana Sanaullah says the government is assessing the possibilities of negotiations while also monitoring the situation of the long march. According to him, around 6 to 8 thousand people participated from Lakki Marwat, with an increase of 2 to 3 thousand participants later.
It is important to note that the role of the provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is crucial in the fight against terrorism. Rana Sanaullah states that the provincial government should play its part in the anti-terrorism efforts. If the provincial government does not cooperate, the federal government will have to step forward.
Rana Sanaullah also discusses meetings with the founder of PTI, emphasizing that such meetings should not be used politically. He stresses that everyone should stand with Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.
