Riyadh: (RightNow) A fire has erupted near the Aramco facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Witnesses report seeing flames and clouds of smoke rising from the site.

In Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, loud explosions have been heard. The Houthis attribute these explosions to airstrikes by Saudi-led coalition forces.

Saudi authorities have not officially confirmed the incident. Aramco has also not commented immediately. Details of casualties or damage from the Sanaa attacks have not been disclosed.

These attacks occur amid an increase in Houthi assaults in Yemen. The Houthis recently claimed responsibility for targeting Aramco facilities in Yanbu.

It is noteworthy that recent fighting in Yemen resumed in July. The Saudi coalition bombed Sanaa airport, prompting retaliatory attacks by the Houthis on Saudi Arabia.
