Peshawar: (RightNow) Jamaat-e-Islami opposes governor rule and emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, announcing participation in the All Parties Conference (APC). PTI leaders met with Jamaat-e-Islami chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman to discuss various issues.

The PTI delegation included Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, and others. During the meeting, the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was discussed, and Jamaat-e-Islami emphasized restoring peace and order in the country.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman stated that Pakistan belongs to 250 million people, not just one institution. He stressed the need to end political and social divisions and suggested the government resolve issues through dialogue.

Allama Nasir Abbas mentioned that the solution to Pakistan’s problems lies in political parties sitting together for dialogue. He considered imposing emergency or governor rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as leading to further crises.

It is noteworthy that Jamaat-e-Islami has always prioritized constitutional supremacy. They believe that in the current political climate, the government should engage in meaningful negotiations with all parties.
