Three ceremonial units were deployed with Chinese and American flags, while the US Air Force band played both national anthems. Platoons from all US military services participated in the ceremony.
During this visit, discussions on tariffs, artificial intelligence, and Taiwan, among other global and bilateral issues, are expected. The trade agreement is set to expire in November, so trade matters will also be discussed.
