Srinagar: (RightNow) An IndiGo flight 6E-225 met with an accident at Srinagar Airport. The aircraft arriving from Mumbai collided with a visual docking guidance system pole during parking.
The incident occurred at 9:02 AM, damaging the front section of the brand-new Airbus A321. The pole was equipped with laser sensors and a display unit to assist pilots in parking.
Fortunately, all passengers and crew were safe, with no injuries reported. They were safely evacuated using regular stairs.
