The Ministry of Petroleum announces new prices, reducing petrol and increasing diesel, affecting the public.
Islamabad: (RightNow) In Pakistan, the petrol price is set at Rs 345.87 per liter, while high-speed diesel is being sold at Rs 378.05 per liter.
The Ministry of Petroleum has issued a notification for prices from September 5 to September 7. Petrol price decreased by Rs 3.13, while diesel price increased by Rs 3.74.
Officials report that since July, petrol prices have decreased 13 times and increased 19 times. High-speed diesel prices have decreased 10 times and increased 22 times.
Due to the Middle East situation, the government determines petroleum prices daily, but they remain stable over the weekend.
It is important to note that global oil market fluctuations force the government to adjust prices, directly impacting the public.
