Thailand: (RightNow) Mitsubishi has launched the fifth generation of its popular SUV, Pajero. This vehicle is designed as a seven-seater flagship off-road SUV.

According to the company, the new Pajero is built on the robust frame of the Triton pickup. It will first be available for sale in Thailand, with introductions in Japan and Australia by the end of March 2027.

Mitsubishi states that the Pajero’s modern design incorporates elements from the Xforce and Destinator. It features a wide grille and prominent wheel arches.

The new Pajero is equipped with a 2.4-liter turbo diesel engine, producing 204 horsepower. This engine is paired with a new generation eight-speed automatic gearbox.

It is noteworthy that with the return of the Pajero, Mitsubishi has once again presented its off-road name in a modern form. Its true performance will be known after sales in global markets.
