Bucharest: (RightNow) Romania has shot down a second drone in two days. The Romanian Defense Minister announced on Facebook that a drone intruding into the airspace was downed on Saturday.

On Friday, another drone was shot down in Romania. Since the start of the Ukraine war, drones have been spotted multiple times, but this is the first time they have been shot down.

According to officials, Romania’s parliament passed a law in 2025, making it legal to shoot down drones violating airspace.

This move is considered crucial for Romania’s national security, showcasing the country’s defense capabilities.
