Karachi: (RightNow) Another HIV case has been reported at Vileka Hospital. An 18-month-old child tested positive, raising the total number of affected individuals to 95.

This new case is linked to the HIV outbreak at Vileka Hospital. The confirmation of the virus in an 18-month-old child is alarming.

With this new case, the confirmed number of HIV-affected individuals has reached 95. So far, 9 children have died due to the virus.

According to the father of the affected child, Abdul Samad, his son was treated at Vileka Hospital in December 2025. After persistent illness, an HIV test was conducted, confirming the virus.

It is noteworthy that the affected child’s father mentioned he has 5 children and plans to have HIV tests conducted for the others to ensure their health.
