Lahore: (RightNow) The federal government has requested reports from provinces on new development agendas and previous project implementations. The government plans to convene the fourth provincial planning meeting soon.

The Planning Commission has urgently requested working papers from the provinces. All reports will be reviewed at an inter-provincial meeting on July 25. Notifications have been sent to Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The Planning Commission seeks progress reports on agriculture, health, and master plans. The government’s claims to curb illegal housing societies and urban sprawl will be assessed.

The federal government has requested performance reports on hepatitis, diabetes, and population control projects. Progress on providing seeds, fertilizers, and agricultural facilities to farmers is also sought.

It is noteworthy that the Planning Commission has decided to review reports on the national plan for the eradication of Hepatitis C. This meeting is being held to review key national development projects.
