Islamabad: (RightNow) PTI leader Eijaz Chaudhry has approached the Supreme Court seeking suspension of his sentence. He has challenged the Lahore High Court’s decision dated April 28.

The petition requests the suspension of the trial court’s decision from August 11, 2025. It also seeks to nullify the Lahore High Court’s order from April 28.

The petitioner claims he has no prior criminal record and that his name was added to the case later.

He further states that both prosecution witnesses are government employees. The Lahore High Court has already suspended the sentence of another accused in the same case.

It is noteworthy that Eijaz Chaudhry has also been sentenced in a case registered at Sarwar Road, Lahore. Having two cases for the same incident is against the law.
