Islamabad: (RightNow). The Supreme Court has postponed the hearing of the Iman Mazari case. According to the Additional Attorney General, the case is scheduled for a hearing in the Islamabad High Court on July 24.

Faisal Siddiqui, Iman Mazari’s lawyer, stated that the case is listed in the High Court due to the Supreme Court hearing. He mentioned that the previous hearing was postponed due to the prosecution.

Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar remarked that the Supreme Court cannot regulate the High Court’s proceedings. Faisal Siddiqui argued that the Supreme Court has issued orders to High Courts in multiple cases.

Justice Mazhar noted the difference between regulating and issuing orders. The Additional Attorney General said the lawyer wants the High Court proceedings under Supreme Court supervision.

It is noteworthy that there are legal differences in the Iman Mazari case, leading to the postponement. The court stated that an urgent hearing request can be made in emergencies.
