Imran Khan instructs PTI to resign from all assemblies except Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, causing internal conflicts.
Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has instructed his party to resign from all assemblies except the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial assembly. This directive stems from Khan’s dissatisfaction with the performance of assembly members.
PTI senior sources revealed that Imran Khan considers the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s performance satisfactory, hence exempting it and its members from resignation. Party leadership stated that assembly members have failed to achieve their objectives.
Close sources to Imran Khan have denied the issuance of any resignation directives, claiming this message is causing internal party conflicts. National Assembly members insist on ignoring their founder’s message.
Party leadership stated that Imran Khan has not issued any new directives regarding committees. The party believes resignations would undermine the gains from PTI’s struggle.
It is noteworthy that Imran Khan is currently imprisoned due to cases from May 9, and legal proceedings against him are ongoing. This situation may further escalate internal party conflicts.
