Karachi: (RightNow) Significant progress has been made in the blasphemy case against Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt. A hearing was held in the Sindh High Court regarding his request to dismiss the case.

During the court hearing, Rajab Butt did not appear, prompting the court to remark that his case is under trial in the trial court. The court has reserved its decision, which is expected to be announced today.

The court stated during the hearing that if the accused is on bail, he should appear in the trial court. According to the prosecution, the blasphemy case against him is registered at the Hyderi Market police station.

This case is significant as such cases are considered serious in the country’s courts. The court’s decision is awaited, which will determine the direction of the case.

It is noteworthy that the case against Rajab Butt was filed by Advocate Riaz Solangi. All eyes are now on the potential decision of the Sindh High Court.
