Lahore: (RightNow). Anchor Rehan Tariq has been sent to jail on judicial remand in a blasphemy case. The investigating officer informed the court that further physical remand of the accused is not required.

Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo conducted the hearing of the case. After the statement of the investigating officer, the court ordered Rehan Tariq to be sent to jail.

During the hearing, the judicial magistrate stated that religious discussions should not occur without proper religious knowledge.

The accused, Rehan Tariq, was presented in court under tight security. The investigating officer submitted the investigation report to the court.

It is noteworthy that the NCCIA has registered a case against the accused.
