Peshawar: (Right Now News) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received 3 trillion 488 billion rupees from the federal government over five years. These figures were presented in the KP Assembly.
According to documents, from 2021 to 2025, funds were allocated under NFC and War on Terror. NFC accounted for 3 trillion 114 billion rupees, while War on Terror received 374 billion rupees.
The highest funds were given in 2024-25, totaling 1 trillion 46 billion rupees. War on Terror funds amounted to 112 billion rupees.
MPA Ahmad Karim Kundi highlighted a discrepancy of 60 billion rupees. He claims there is a contradiction between the white paper and the budget.
It is noteworthy that Provincial Finance Minister Aftab Alam stated that the details are complete. Questions have been sent to the relevant standing committee.
