This attack occurred just before the NATO summit began in Turkey, increasing regional tensions. Reports indicate that 7 people were killed in Kyiv, while one person died in the Bucha district.
Kyiv’s mayor stated that the city’s air defense system was active and intercepted several missiles mid-air. He urged citizens to follow safety instructions.
The head of Kyiv’s military administration confirmed that Russian ballistic missiles caused damage in several residential areas, and rescue operations are ongoing at various sites.
