Peshawar: (Right Now News) Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, has announced that the 2026-27 budget will be dedicated to the youth and the poor and middle classes. He made this statement during a meeting of the Planning and Development Department.

The meeting reviewed development projects of various departments. These projects include making Kohat, Mardan, Peshawar, and merged districts into safe cities, constructing modern warehouses, and other initiatives.

Sohail Afridi directed the establishment of mini solar grids, micro-hydro power stations, and small industrial estates in the merged districts. He emphasized providing modern skills to the youth and promoting e-commerce.

The Chief Minister proposed a three-year plan to increase forest area and suggested real-time surveillance of animal diseases. He also instructed the swift completion of the animal rights policy.

It is noteworthy that this initiative by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is a significant step towards the welfare of the youth and the poor class. These measures will play a crucial role in the province’s development.
