India has approved $25 billion in defense projects, including S-400 systems and aircraft.
New Delhi: (Right Now News) India’s Defense Acquisition Council has approved defense projects worth $25 billion.
The council’s approval includes medium transport aircraft, Russian-made S-400 air defense systems, and unmanned combat aerial vehicles.
According to the government, various advanced systems, including air defense tracked systems and armor-piercing tank ammunition, have been approved for the Indian military.
Proposals for medium transport aircraft, long-range S-400 missile systems, and Su-30 aircraft engine overhauls have been approved for the Indian Air Force.
It is noteworthy that the purchase of heavy-duty air cushion vehicles for the Indian Coast Guard has also been approved.
