Lahore: (RightNow) The Lahore District Court has ordered the release of Saadat Anees, the accused in the petrol pump employee assault case, following a settlement between the parties.

Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Ali Amjad stated in his written decision that the complainant has reached an agreement with the accused and does not wish to pursue further action. The complainant mentioned that the incident occurred due to a misunderstanding.

The court rejected the police’s request for a 10-day physical remand based on the settlement. The accused has been discharged from the case and ordered to be released.

This case is significant as the court acknowledged the settlement and released the accused, highlighting the importance of reconciliation in assault cases.

It is noteworthy that the case was registered by Chuhang Police Station, and the release was granted due to the settlement.
