Tehran: (RightNow) Iran calls on the United Nations to stop threats from the US and Israel against Tehran. The Iranian government has condemned the US’s ‘Mother of All Bombs’ threat in a letter to the UN.

The letter demands the US and Israel cease such threats. Signed by Iran’s Ambassador Gholam Hossein Dehghani, it was sent to the UN Secretary-General and Security Council President.

The Iranian representative urged both officials to immediately ask the US and Israeli governments to end illegal threats. They were also asked to adhere to the UN Charter and international laws.

This issue is crucial for international peace as such threats could escalate regional tensions. Iran has called for adherence to global legal responsibilities.

It is noteworthy that Iran and the US already have strained relations. The US has imposed various sanctions on Iran.
