Islamabad: (RightNow) The government announces a reduction in petroleum product prices. According to the Petroleum Division’s statement, diesel price is reduced by Rs 7.69 per liter.
The new price for diesel is set at Rs 389.27 per liter. The notification also mentions a reduction in petrol price by Rs 5.16 per liter.
The new petrol price will be Rs 381.14 per liter. These prices are effective from October 20.
The price of West Texas Intermediate crude oil increased by $1.68, reaching $103.09 per barrel.
It is noteworthy that these changes in petroleum prices will also apply for October 17, 18, and 19.
