Washington: (RightNow) American astronomers have made a significant discovery beyond our solar system. They have confirmed changes in the thickness of water clouds on an astronomical object the size of Jupiter.

Led by astronomer Brittany Miles from the University of Arizona, the team observed the brown dwarf using the James Webb Space Telescope for 11 hours. This object is approximately 7.5 light-years away from Earth and has a temperature of about 265 Kelvin.

Brown dwarfs are astronomical objects with more mass than planets but cannot generate energy through nuclear fusion like stars.

Experts state that the water clouds in this object’s atmosphere become thick and thin during rotation. Chemical gases rise from the depths due to thermal processes.

It is important to note that this discovery is crucial for understanding the weather and atmospheric systems of astronomical objects and will aid in studying environments beyond our solar system.
