Washington: (RightNow) US President Donald Trump announces Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 tons of diesel to the US and global markets. President Trump stated that a successful discussion took place with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump mentions that Russia will supply an additional 500,000 tons of diesel in November. Following that, Russia is prepared to provide another 1 million tons in December. The Russian presidential office confirmed a 90-minute telephone conversation between the two leaders.

The discussion also covered the resolution possibilities of the Ukraine crisis and Iran. Putin indicated that Russia might consider restarting peace talks. The US President praised Russia’s role in resolving the Iran conflict.

The Russian President stated that supplying Russian oil to the US market will positively impact the global economy. Both leaders expressed their desire to attend the summit in China in November.

It is noteworthy that the US President has already announced a significant reduction in diesel prices. He claims that global market prices will soon decrease and that Iran has been prevented from acquiring nuclear weapons.
