Kabul: (RightNow). Resistance groups in Afghanistan claim to have killed 2 Taliban officials in recent attacks. The attacks targeted key Taliban figures in Kandahar and Jalalabad.

The Afghanistan United Front reported that Taliban ombudsman Abdul Rahman was killed in Kandahar’s Khakrez district. Abdul Rahman was accused of committing atrocities against civilians. Meanwhile, the National Mobilization Front claimed the killing of the Taliban’s intelligence chief in Jalalabad.

The Taliban government has not yet confirmed these incidents, nor have independent sources verified the claims. Resistance groups state their operations will continue until the elimination of the Taliban, ISIS, and TTP.

These attacks aim to increase pressure on the Taliban government, which has seen a rise in resistance activities in recent months. The operations raise questions about Taliban governance and security.

It is noteworthy that the Afghanistan United Front, led by former Afghan military commander Sami Sadat, began operations against the Taliban in August, aiming to eliminate the Taliban and other terrorist groups.
