Iran rejects Trump’s oil shipment claims, asserts readiness for any conflict.
Tehran: (RightNow) Iran has rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s claims of increased oil shipments. Iranian chief negotiator Baqer Qalibaf stated that Tehran has full control over the Strait of Hormuz and is ready for any new conflict.
Baqer Qalibaf responded strongly to Trump’s statement, saying either the global market is foolish or the U.S. is lying. He remarked that if U.S. claims are true, people could get free dollars in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi mentioned on a U.S. TV program that Iran is prepared for any war. He stated that Iran has learned from past conflicts and corrected its strategic flaws.
The Iranian Foreign Minister further added that Tehran is also ready for diplomacy. It now depends on U.S. President Donald Trump to choose the path forward.
It is noteworthy that the Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most crucial oil routes, and Iran’s control over it can have global implications.
