Lahore: (RightNow) Pakistani actress Maryam Nafees became emotional over the violence and murders of women and young girls. She shared a heartfelt video on her Instagram account, where she was seen crying.

Maryam Nafees expressed sorrow over the atrocities faced by women and girls in society. She mentioned a 5-year-old girl who was gang-raped, murdered, and thrown into a well.

The actress further revealed that a newborn girl was found by the police outside an orphanage. Previously, the hashtag ‘Hina’ trended after she was brutally murdered by her husband.

Maryam Nafees stated that the police raped a 20-year-old girl, and an 18-month-old named Aizal was also raped. These incidents have shaken society.

It is important to note that the crime rate against women and girls in Pakistan has increased recently, which is alarming.
