President Trump stated on social media that Canada has imposed heavy tariffs on American farmers, which will no longer be tolerated. He mentioned that the idea of making Canada the ’51st state’ has caused discontent in Canada.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney called the US tariffs a misjudgment, stating they aim to harm Canada. He announced retaliatory tariffs on US products.
