Islamabad: (RightNow). The UK High Commissioner has assured the resolution of delays in British visas for Pakistani students. This assurance was given during a meeting with Federal Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar.

Federal Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar met with UK High Commissioner Jane Marriott. The meeting discussed bilateral relations and the issue of delays in visas for Pakistani students.

The Federal Minister stated that the visa delays are affecting the education of hundreds of students. The Government of Pakistan has expressed its concern over the matter.

It is noteworthy that a committee headed by Azam Nazeer Tarar has been formed. This committee is working on issues faced by Pakistani students studying abroad.

The UK High Commissioner has assured the resolution of visa issues for Pakistani students. Strengthening educational ties between the two countries was also considered.
